LETTER TO MY BELOVED SISTER
Beloved sister,
be ye conscious of evil days,
be not oblivious of evil men.
Life is not always what you think it is.
When you climb over mountains
and walk through storms,
Be ye not dismayed,

Adolescence, a stage that determines adulthood.
The good and the bad experience of adulthood are predetermined at this stage of our lives.
The decisions you make at this stage are crucial in your annals.
Adolescence,
a stage when we glow like flowers in the day,
When our petals shine so bright,
When every guy that passes by stares at you with great admiration,
Be ye not deceived by their sweet words, as some can be deceptive,
I have learnt that no matter the morality of man,
There is always a modicum of lying factor in his instincts
Oh! Some call it ‘wisdom’.
They say,‘you just have to be diplomatic’
When they say ‘I love you’
Be wise, do not be gullible,
Their lips are ingrained with deceits,
Many love you because they want to fulfill their youthful and adolescence lusts.
They love you because of your good looks that fade away with time.
Have you ever asked yourself why ‘unwanted pregnancy’ is common among adolescents?
Think deep my sister. It’s all because of the gullibility for lusts.
Hmm… Why do we lust after lusts?
Estrogen?
Testosterone?
My dear, take charge of your actions.
Adolescence,
a stage when most parents fail in their responsibility of good upbringing.
One of the greatest mistakes parents make at this stage is not telling their adolescent children the truth about sex.
The truth is that at a particular stage of your life,
You will feel like engaging in sex,
There will be a great urge for it,
This is not because you are amoral,
It is not because you are ungodly,
It is an action titillated by puberty hormones
My sister, do not give in, as the impulse does not last.
Few minutes’ enjoyment can truncate your determination and conviction of ‘bed undefiled’.

A stage when adolescents are abandoned.
I have seen many dejected by relations and acquaintances
I have seen people drop out of school, not because their parents are financially handicapped,
But because of adolescence mistakes.
If you don’t want it, please flee,
